The Director of Clinical Services will be both an educator and a driver of quality outcomes for 8+ clinics in the area.   Ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of programs to improve patient quality outcomes by by providing training, education, project management and support for for the clinical teammates in this area.  This role will also be responsible for the overall management of the divisions clinical services team and may supervise clinical services teammates within assigned division. 
 
Key responsibilities will include: development, review, and roll out of clinical policies and education programs, processes and materials; driving positive DQI trends within division; participate in CQI activities; implementation and monitoring of plans to meet facility goals; direct and implement on-going training as well as making recommendations for changes/enhancements as needed; ensuring adherence to compliance standards, submitting proper documentation to regulatory agencies; troubleshooting issues and making plans of action to address as well as creating an overall process for driving clinical excellence.  Ideal candidate will act as an internal consultant and be able to influence and communicate effectively.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing degree program; bachelors degree preferred OR 2-4 year degree in a related field with equivalent experience
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of nephrology experience
  • Experience in CQI methodology and techniques 
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to travel 
  • Experience in teaching the adult learner strongly preferred with demonstrated ability to communicate technical/medical information in lay terms as necessary 
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet knowledge 
  • CNN or CDN, Bonent certification within two years of employment desired
